Across the city in a London cab.
Stephan and Alda have a deep connection to Hamburg and although they are both not living in our beloved city anymore, they wanted to get married here at all costs. Stephan used to work in the rowing club ‘Harmonie’, so it quickly became clear that they are going to celebrate there. Early in the morning me and my assistant Kerstin set off to greet both of them in the Motel One. It came in handy that they had their rooms directly next to each other, so we could take photos across the balconies with a beautiful view over Hamburg. They tied the knot in the registrar’s office of Hamburg and the whole day we were driven around by an old London cab. From the Hotel over to the office to the ‘Speicherstadt’ and off to the ‘Sternschanze’. Just in time as we arrived at the ‘Schanze’ it started pouring down and we backed off to the ‘Haus 73’ (and took some photos there).
We continued over the Alster to the rowing club, where the first guests had already arrived. Oh, this was an excellent day across the city.
